My first entry

Hi, This is my first entry on my new blog page, I hope it will be of some interest to you. As you know I live on the River Itchen in Winchester. The May fly have just started to hatch and I had 3 nice but small brown trout yesterday evening.It was a very warm evening, for late spring and I could still fish until about 9 pm. I spent a pleasant hour with a chap called James who lives further down the river, and gave him an impromptu lesson in roll casting, which I think that he enjoyed, until his wife called him in! I intend to keep you inform as much as I can about my fishing life - which pretty much takes up all my life- and hopes it helps you to enjoy your fishing as I enjoy mine.
